Infinova’s InfiNet™ V2040 TCP/IP Networkable Video Matrix Switcher is a fully IP addressable, full crosspoint matrix switcher, with an option for fully controllable video over IP. It is the industry’s only switcher controllable via LAN or WAN. Unlike the old RS422/485 network system, no additional cabling is required.
The advanced network is more reliable, and easier to maintain, integrate and upgrade. Up to 64 sites per network can be accommodated.
All Infinova’s switchers, small and large, are TCP/IP networkable. |

Features:
InfiNet V2040 TCP/IP Networkable Video Matrix Switcher provides the following significant features.
1) Full TCP/IP Networking—the only CCTV system matrix switcher with Ethernet (LAN or WAN) network controllability, providing advanced technology, better reliability, larger scale network (up to 64 nodes), and substantial labor and equipment cost savings.
2) Variable Capacity Networkability (VCN)—the only family of networkable matrix switchers that includes large as well as small capacity switchers, allowing tremendous equipment cost savings for most network systems in which some sites require small switchers for fewer cameras.
3) Integrated VIP (Video over IP) option—the only matrix switcher with an option of built-in video server, allowing users to switch, view and fully PTZ control up to four cameras out of as many as hundreds or more, and to program alarm response over the Internet, LAN or WAN, providing unprecedented viewing and control flexibility.
4) Compatible with Infinova’s Integration GUI software—allowing users to easily program and control the V2040 and to integrate Access Control with video surveillance onto a single interface.

Benefits:
Infinova’s InfiNet V2040 TCP/IP Networkable Video Matrix Switcher provides users with the benefits of advanced technology, higher reliability and substantial cost savings. It represents Infinova’s innovation in designing and manufacturing highly advanced CCTV system products.
Technology means convenience and savings—By using the V2040’s TCP/IP networkability, installers can use existing LAN or WAN wiring to significantly reduce labor and equipment costs. Unlike the old RS422/485 network system, no additional cabling is required. As the TCP/IP is the more advanced protocol and the network is peer-to-peer, the network is more reliable, and easier to maintain, integrate and upgrade. It can network up to 64 nodes, much larger than what has been available in the market.
Save unnecessary costs—Infinova TCP/IP Networkability extends across its entire family of switchers, from the smallest (16 video inputs by 5 video outputs) to the largest (4096 inputs by 256 outputs). Other manufacturers restrict their network feature to large switchers only. However, most of the networking projects, such as metropolitan subway stations, power plant stations, seaports and airports, require small switchers at remote sites since there are not many cameras at each site. With Infinova, users can avoid buying expensive, large switchers for small switcher application---a tremendous cost savings.
Integrated Video over IP—This option of V2040allows the users to switch, view and fully PTZ control up to four cameras over the Internet, LAN or WAN and to program alarm responses, providing unprecedented viewing and control flexibility.
Integration ready—By using the InfiNet graphical user interface integration software, users can easily program and control all V2040 functions on a computer. It also allows easy integration of Access Control with video surveillance system.
Service—Infinova welcomes custom requirements for challenging applications and provides 24-hour turnaround repair/replacement service.
